  • Listed some topics on the whiteboard for your upcoming Scientific Method Quiz.  You will write this next class (Wed. Oct.8th).
  • Moved on to a reintroduction to the microscope.  Just some parts and functions.  You will have the opportunity to look at some prepared slides on Wednesday after your quiz.
Earth Science 11 - Period 2
  • A review of last day's chemistry notes with an emphasis on minerals and crystals.
  • Set up the crystal lab.  The crystals will be ready on Wednesday for observations.
Biology 12 - Period 3

  • We will be working through a basic chem powerpoint next class and then talking about how special water is.  Fun!

  • Finally finished the Spongebob worksheets, which means you will be writing a Scientific Method Quiz next class (Tuesday, October 7th).  Please take some time to prepare.
  • Took a bit of time to review microscope parts and functions.  We will continue with the microscope next week.
Biology 12 - Period 6
Science 10 - Period 7
  • Bohr diagrams today folks.  Very exciting stuff.  
  • We will look at how valence electrons interact next class.
Earth Science 11 - Period 8
  • Some basic chemistry definitions today to lead into our future study of minerals and then rocks.

  • Moved on to talk about some basic chemistry terms.
  • This discussion will lead us into our study of crystals and minerals which will begin next class.
