Biology 11 - Periods 1 and 3
- Back in the library today working on virus assignments. These are due next Friday (December 16th) by the end of the day.
- Don't forget the Chapter 15 (Classification) test next class. Topics include binomial naming, the 7 taxanomic levels (remember King Philip) and the characteristics of the 5 kingdoms.
- Last of the notes today.
- Revisit the Transport Across the Cell Membrane powerpoint here.
- Egg lab was due today.
- Potato lab is due next Friday (December 16th).
- Cell Membrane (Chapter 4) test is next Thursday (December 15th).
- Also discussed the relationship between cell size and the cell's surface area to volume ratio.
